アメリカなどの固定電話（携帯も含む）などへの発信（スカイプアウトと同じ機能）をなんと無料でサービス開始したが、その後1通話1ユーロセントに変更。

イギリス宛は未だ無料（2005.5.8現在）
最新の料金表は"VoipBuster-to-phone rates"

Skypeと同じくGIPSのコーデックを使用。

VoipBusterユーザー間は当然無料。

音声通話のみでIMのサポートなし。

急激に注目を集めるが、現在ベータテスト中ということで新規ユーザー募集停止中。

Due to technical problems we have decided to temporarily put a limit on the number of new VoipBuster clients. As we are currently in BETA stage of developing this new and exciting product, we opt to continue our test runs with our existing BETA usergroup for the next couple of months. Our current BETA users can continue calling with VoipBuster, just like they are used to. In fact, we urge you to keep on using VoipBuster and participate in our forums because now is the time to share your wishes and expectations for the official release.
